Brooke Bradbury joined Pointe3 Real Estate in June of 2012. As an Eastside resident with extensive knowledge of the greater Seattle area’s real estate and rental markets, she delivers unmatched expertise to her clients.
Brooke has also relocated dozens of employees from the major local corporations in our area, including Microsoft, Starbucks and Amazon.
I sat down with Brooke to learn more about her for this week’s Agent Spotlight!
1. When and why did you get started in real estate?
I have always been interested in real estate and got my Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate from WSU. After graduation, I moved to Bellevue and became a mortgage loan officer. I was in the mortgage industry for 10 years and in 2008 decided to switch over from lending to real estate. I love real estate and helping people find their home.
2. Why did you join Pointe3 Real Estate?
I liked the aspect of a smaller real estate company with a team and management that really cares about their brokers and are able to give the guidance and support that I might not get from larger company.
3. What neighborhood(s) do you specialize in?
I specialize in the Eastside of King County which includes Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Redmond, Bothell and Woodinville.
4. What is the most challenging/gratifying aspect of being a real estate broker?
The most gratifying aspect is helping my clients find their dream home and obtain home ownership, especially first time home buyers. The most challenging part is when inventory is low and there are multiple offers and bidding wars.
5. What do you foresee in 2016’s real estate market?
I foresee it to continue to be a seller’s market in our area. People are going to continue to move here for jobs and inventory is going to remain low so homes will continue to steadily appreciate.
6. Do you have any advice for someone looking to buy or sell a home in today’s competitive real estate market?
Yes, buyers need to come with their best game….financing in order, pre-inspections, escalation clauses, etc. and be ready to move quickly. For sellers, they need to make sure their home is in the best condition possible before listing….repairs, maintenance and staging should be completed and ready to go.
7. Tell us about you! Where did you grow up and where do you currently reside?
I grew up in a small town, down by Olympia, called Montesano. After college, I moved to Bellevue for a job and have lived in the Bellevue and Kirkland area since.
8. What are your passions or hobbies outside of real estate?
I enjoy snow skiing, hiking, wine tasting and watching the Sounders.
9. What are your favorite things to do in Seattle?
I love the outdoors and enjoy all the amazing spots Seattle has for hiking, biking and kayaking.
10. Why should someone choose you as their real estate broker?
I am a dedicated and experienced agent, available 24/7 to my clients, knowledgeable of schools and neighborhoods in the area. I am also very thorough and detail oriented which is important when dealing with contracts and contingencies.
